Miami Gardens Xpress Track and Field Program - Past

MGX is a non-profit organization which started in 2005 with the sole purpose to get local kids off the streets and provide an alternative outlet in track and field games. With a humble beginning and lack of training facility, MGX trained their athletics on a dirt and grass field with the minimum necessities and support at Norland Middle School.

With these limitations, the Miami Garden Xpress program has overwhelming exceeded expectations and placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in regional, state and national competition circuits such as the ESPN AAU National Club Championships and Junior AAU Junior Olympic Games.

Our training begins in February and every Saturday beginning in March through May we participate in developmental meets that lead us to the AAU Junior Olympics in August. We strive for greatness so that our athletes may achieve their goals.
